Peter

A stylist and colourist with over a decade behind the chair, Peter built his career on cuts with real shape and blondes that looks lived-in rather than done. Originally from Crowborough in East Sussex, he's been in London long enough to call Walthamstow home.

From Crowborough to East London

It began with messing about with friends' hair long before it occurred to him it could be a job. He started properly in 2012 as a Toni & Guy apprentice, came up through their Vardering programme, and went on to The Chapel and freelance work. The energy at Bond is what drew him in - a team that looks out for each other, and a bright, easy room where nobody's judged and everyone learns something.

Cutting, Short Shapes & Lived-In Blonde

Cutting is where Peter is most at home - short hair especially. Pixies, crops and close-cut shapes where every millimetre counts, cut to suit the face rather than the picture. He's just as strong on long hair haircuts, grown-out kind of blonde: soft, lived-in colour that looks like it's been there a while and doesn't need a salon visit every six weeks to hold up.

Life Outside the Salon

Pop music, a good festival and live shows - Peter's happiest where there's a crowd and a decent soundtrack. He travels whenever he can, and buys clothes slightly more often than he'd like to admit.
