people. obsessed with. good hair.
The working environment
This isn't how most salons work. That's the point.
If you're a hairstylist looking for a salon job in East London, Bond is worth your attention - but probably not for the reasons you'd expect.
Bond isn't a high-volume salon. Every stylist works one-to-one with their clients - longer appointments, more considered results, and the kind of relationship that keeps people coming back for years.
The space is calm, but the books aren't quiet. We invest seriously in marketing, we have a loyal local following in Shoreditch, and our average spend per client reflects what happens when you actually take the time.
We're based on Arnold Circus - one of the nicest addresses in East London - which means the clients you attract here tend to be the clients you want to keep.
We're looking for
three kinds of people
Experienced hairstylists
You're confident across cut and colour - you don't need someone looking over your shoulder, and you wouldn't want them to. You might have an existing client base you want to bring with you, or you're ready to build one somewhere that suits you better. Either way, you work best when the environment matches your standard.
True specialists
You've gone deep in one area, and you want a salon that gives that the space it deserves. Colourists, cutting specialists, extensions and textured hair.
Building clientele
You don't need a full column to join us - you need to be the kind of stylist who's going to build one. Whether you're earlier in your career, new to London, or starting fresh somewhere that suits you better, what matters is ambition and commitment to the craft.
Colour specialist
Whether you're a colour specialist with a signature balayage, a creative colourist, or technically strong across the full menu - Bond clients invest in their colour and they stick with who they trust.
Cutting specialist
You think about shape, texture, and how someone actually lives in their hair. So do our clients. They book in advance, they rebook, and they send their friends.
Hair extension specialist
Extensions is an area we're actively growing. If you have a method you've built your reputation on — nano, tape, weft or something else — we want to hear about it.
Textured hair specialist
Textured hair specialists know that their clients are often looking for someone they can really trust - a specialist who gets it, takes the time, and does the work properly. This is a serious opportunity in East London.

The arrangement
We offer both employed and self-employed options, because where you are in your career should shape the arrangement - not the other way around.
Commission-based
Commission-based, with full transparency on pricing, costs, and what you'll actually take home. You run your column. We handle the salon, the marketing, the clients, and the environment.
New starters can access a guaranteed income option during their first few months, so you can focus on building your column without the financial pressure of month one.

The team you'd be apart of
The Bond team is small - deliberately. You'll work alongside stylists who ask each other for second opinions, share ideas without the politics, and actually care whether the result is right. No egos, no competition for clients. Just good people doing good work.
